We are based in Invercargill, New Zealand and exist to support each other in our mutual interest in all things relating to geology and lapidary work (making works of art/jewellery from rocks/minerals).
Club meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Seminar Room at First Church, 155 Tay Street, Invercargill.
[Visitors are welcome.]
Field trips are on the 4th Sunday of each month to collect rocks or to visit a place of geological or lapidary interest.
If you are interested in learning more about rocks, fossils, minerals, geology, working rocks/minerals into forms of jewellery, cutting, polishing, and tumbling rocks, or just making new friends who share your hobby, this is the club for you.
It's easy to join - just fill in the short form here, and pay the $25 sub.
We are an affiliated club of the National Association of New Zealand Rock and Mineral Clubs (NANZRMC)
